First Article Inspection
First article inspections (FAI) are a critical component of any new Xofah project. The goal of an FAI at the beginning of a project is to ensure that technical documents, proposed processes, and all tooling is sufficient for consistently delivering high-quality parts that conform to specifications. An FAI generally includes the following steps:
- Comprehensive review of engineering documentation to ensure the accuracy of all drawings and specifications.
- Verification of the production process in every parameter, from choice of raw materials, through conversion and special processing.
- Functional testing of the final product to ensure that it performs as expected.
