Operational Logic
Metal Stamping & Forming Processes

Deep-Drawn Stamping
Deep-drawn stamping has become known as one of the best ways to create complex, detailed components with a vast degree of accuracy and dependability. Not only that, deep-drawn parts are unusually strong due to the extreme amount of compression exerted on the metal during the forming process.

Progressive Die Stamping
Progressive die stamping is a metal-forming process that producers usually use to create parts, especially for automobiles, electronics and consumer devices. In progressive die stamping, the sheet metal is processed in several different workstations where one or multiple stamping operations are carried out.

Transfer Press Stamping
In transfer press stamping, parts are transferred from one station to another by an automated mechanical system. In situations where the part must be free from the metal strip to enable operation to be carried out in a free state, a transfer press is used.

Prototype and Short-Run Stamping
Xofah can produce sheet metal stamped parts in lower quantities for prototyping and production runs. This helps our customers validate their designs without having to worry about the costs associated with large production runs.

The Xofah Difference
Project Management
Xofah offers project management throughout the manufacturing process. After you create a PO, our team will guide you through each step. They will keep you up-to-date with the information you need to monitor production and share project information with internal stakeholders.
Design for Manufacturing Expertise
Design for manufacturing support can deliver improved results when manufacturing sheet metal stamped parts. The design considers manufacturing tolerances and typical wear from usage. Optimizing designs is an often overlooked step in the production of sheet metal stampings.
FAIR Approval
A first-article inspection report (FAIR) is a part of any robust product development program. It is also critical to conduct detailed inspections to avoid out-of-tolerance components and rework for stamped parts. Xofah's process incorporates this essential step.
Managed Inventory for JIT
Global events of the early 2020s have demonstrated the importance of inventory management and supply chain resiliency. Having a globally connected supply partner is an effective way to build resiliency and multi-source supply.
